Manufacturing Team Member

A Manufacturing Team-member is a team-member who specializes in the manufacturing of product with various machines that they are trained to operate.

• Due to constant shifts in customer needs for the product they require; it is important that each Manufacturing Team-member be cross trained to operate several machines within the facility. For this reason, there are no specific job classifications (e.g., laser operator, brake press operator, welder, material handler, inspector, etc.)
• Regardless of each machine a Manufacturing Team-member is trained to operate, all Team-members will be required to be trained to perform the following critical job functions which are necessary for proper machine operation.
  • Safety Policy and Procedures Including COVID Protocol
  • SDS
  • Inspection and Inspection Documentation
  • Containment
  • Inventory Transactions
    • Tag and label
    • Scrap
    • Packaging
    • Sort and Re-work
  • Housekeeping and Plant Organization
  • All company policy and procedures including attendance.
• Each Team-member will be trained to specialize in a specific machine to “specialize” in. However, they will also be trained to operator other machines, and be required to operate them, when required.
• PayScale’s will provide incremental increases in pay for each of the following.
  • General Machine Operation (Open to all manufacturing team-members)
  • Machine set-up and first piece troubleshooting (Opening for 1 per shift per machine)
  • Machine Programming and Process Development (Opening for 2 per machine)
